The situation with Lorelai and Chris is no where near the same as dean and Rory. If I remember correctly, Chris told Lorelai he and Sheri were broken up. They also were only dating. Chris found out about the baby after and went back to Sherri and they got engaged after. Also I think Luke and Lorelai’s first kiss is so perfect for them. Being in the middle of an argument is so them. And honestly it’s hot lol. It also perfectly embodies 4 years of built up tension.
