I really felt for the son and dad in this episode, carrying that secret had to have been so tough and draining. I understood why the dad wanted the mom to think that it was his fault because I honestly thought she wouldn't have forgiven the son either.
It's nice seeing Jim (Sam) get prices of his memory back, bit by bit and not just all at once in these episodes. It seems to be be that he remembers parts of his life or things when he gets some kind of trigger. Sam's reaction is very interesting when Melinda was asking him how did it feel to get some memories back, it's almost like Jim and Sam are both fighting against each other mentally. If I'm being completely honest still being able to see Jim, never bothered me. I love his character and when he got shot and they said he died I was very unhappy thinking his character was really going to be off the show. I don't get what you mean, for you it's not as fun or whatever. If it makes you feel any better after this season they stop showing Sam reflection all together and in season 5 it's just Jim again.
I love how much Delia is involved with the ghost talk now. She would get on my nerves so much (not too much) because of her being a skeptic. I completely understood why she didn't always believe Melinda before because she didn't have solid proof but she didn't have faith either. Her character has come so far and soon Ned (and even him) becomes more into the ghost stuff too and I love to see them involved with the ghosts other than just Melinda and Eli.
I feel so bad for Melinda having to watch Sam try and contact his girlfriend, knowing that Jim is in his body. It's like she's losing Jim all over again.
