I think Lorelai does enjoy going to dinner. Yeah she does kind of put on a front that she goes for Rory but when they stopped going towards the end of season 3 there was quite a few scenes showing that Lorelai missed dinner and missed them. She probably wouldn’t go every week at this point if it weren’t for Rory, but i don’t think she would give it up completely.
