Yeahhh that’s a hot take, very much disagree that he’s selfish and thinks of himself. It’s very much quite the opposite, in fact, this is just another example. He always gives his friends credit and knows he wouldn’t be there without them. I mean The intro song literally is giving Ally credit “there’s no way I could make it without you, do it without you, be here without you” since the first episode when he realized he messed up he gave her credit. Anyways, I’m so happy they didn’t break up, along side Monica and Chandler they are my favorite couple ever. They are so cute together. The kiss at the end was totally improvised. It was so sweet of him to give up his career for her 💖

"there is no way I can make it without you" is literally Austin saying that about Ally. Ally wouldn't have even gotten over her stage fright possibly if she didn't have austin's support. He also has done nice things for Trish and Dez as well. LIke of course he is gonna care about his music career but he dosent treat ally's as less then. Anyways, I love this episode and him literally giving up his career for her just shows how shes become way more important to him above anything else.
