So....the thing about Charmed is it started out trying to be a serious witch show and then found that campy works for them and they tried to balance it out between cheesy and serious for about the first 4 seasons, which was more noticeable thanks to the whole Andy's death/Piper and Leo struggling to be together/Prue's death/literally everything with Cole, but since s5 they leaned HEAVILY into the campiness. I mean, they literally opened the season with Phoebe turning into a mermaid like π€·πΎββοΈ. It's more suited towards a specific audience (a lot of us queers for example still love the later seasons). If you're looking for "serious" Charmed, the next 2 seasons might not be it for you. They have some pretty amazing serious episodes and storylines sprinkled in but there's still a heavy dose of camp. I never minded Charmed's campiness but I do have to skip them in your reactions because it just makes you so miserable that I'm miserable watching it. I do love the s8 finale as I think it wraps up the Charmed story so well, so I'd love for you to get there.

You have the wrong title and episode number. This should be "Spin City" 6x18
