I agree that it wasn’t done well, but I think the point is that Declan is the opposite of Spinner and that’s what’s exciting to her. They should have showed that she was thinking of ending things before this episode, and that her and Spinner have become more “bros” than actually dating. There was some of that this episode, but not enough for her to want to run away in the opposite direction.

2025-07-11 17:19:17 +0000 UTCto me Jane cheating wasn't out of character she was always a little flaky, but blatantly cheating on spinner with Declan of all people was so left field. As quiet as it's kept Declan does indeed come off as an asshole with ease but his mouth is what gets him in trouble more than anything. I also forgot how early they started kc's storyline so I can't wait to see that develop from scratch.
