I felt bad for Elle in this episode because of that interview she went on, her light dimmed in this one. It was heartbreaking. I'm glad Tao made that video for her and showed her how bright she truly shines. Their relationship is so beautiful 🥺
Charlie's mom has been annoying to me since the first season, like damn she's strict af 😭 The dad is so much nicer. I hate that he's the more understanding/nice parent and he doesn't have a say in anything Charlie does or wants. It's so weird to me. You can tell he mostly sides with Charlie, he just doesn't say anything about it and loudly sides with the mom even though he disagrees or wants Charlie to do what he wants. This is the first show I've seen where the dad is speechless with his kids wants and needs. Every show I've watched before this, the dads always had a say in everything too.
I love that Nick was finally able to tell Charlie how he feels. Tara was right to let Nick know that he shouldn't always be the strong one and that he has to look out for himself as well. I'm also glad that Charlie shut Nick down when he tried to get Charlie to vent.
