Yeah, Elise's character is supposed to be young. I don't know if she's 13-14, she could even be 15-16. I totally get your point about her seeming young to you because she's not sensing all the red flags with that guy. Her dad did mention she's vulnerable, it's not just about that either. She clearly feels lonely as well which is another reason why she went with him so willingly. You can tell she wanted some company and not be alone. Also around her age with her mom always busy and her dad gone is the time where kids start rebelling when they have a life like hers. I think another reason why Elise got in the car with him is because he took advantage of her insecurities and home life and made it seem like he understood what she was going through to make her feel "seen" which is fucked up.
The police knew where they were because they were tracing the car, Eli gave them the license plate number after hearing it from the dad ghost. I'm guessing after getting the license plate number it was easy for them to track where he was going afterwards.
I found Elise's character so interesting. Not because of what she went through in this episode, but because her character here is very similar to her character on the show Switched At Birth. In Switched At Birth her character Bay was very insecure and felt alone, just like her character here. Also how in Switched At Birth she looked nothing like her parents that she grew up with, she looks nothing like her parents in this episode either 😂 I just find it so interesting because I've noticed in this show they always make the kids look similar to both parents or at least just one of them to make it more realistic.

"what's the purpose, just to talk to each other?!" Probably yeah 😂 when I was in high school my younger brother introduced me to a game called "Gaia" and it was basically just that, people chatting with each other and nothing else. It was very fun though, I met a lot of nice people in the short time I played it.
I could be making a guess because I'm not entirely sure but when Melinda was talking about drawing him out of her computer she could mean because of her energy. Ghosts can sense her gift in seeing them just like she's able to feel what they feel, so I think that's what she meant. He sensed her energy of being able to help him and it got him out of her computer. I hope this makes sense, this was the only thing I could think of. Yup! The guy that was in the chat with Elise was from Halloween. It was weird they made him a whole new person out in the real world while everyone who stayed the same person they were in the game.
