consent is important here. and by feeding elena his blood and trying to force her into becoming a vampire (which she has already stated she does NOT want), he is taking away her consent and right to choose. it may not seem like what he did was a big deal, but it was. and when stefan said ... "how could you of all people do that to her", he was referring to the fact that stefan is the one who forced damon to become a vampire when he didn't want to. and damon resented stefan for it for years. he swore him an eternity of misery because of it. so for damon to then turn around and force this burden on elena...yikes.

2025-05-22 23:41:21 +0000 UTCThe fights with Damon and Stefan can be so annoying and frustrating sometimes. I sometimes see both sides, their situation in this episode being one of them. I understand why Damon wants to do everything he can to help and save Elena because he doesn't want her dead, but I also understand why Stefan is letting her make her own decisions. I wouldn't want to be with someone so controlling that they wouldn't let me make my own decisions even if they don't agree with them. Both Stefan and Damon are in tough situations with Elena. I also get Elena's side. She's the key to everything, wanting her friends to die that has something to do with her to save herself is selfish as hell. I would do the same if I was Elena. Personally I do think it's stupid the director/producer or whoever made it so Elena didn't want to be a vampire. I feel like anyone (including me) would pick being a vampire then just dying. I totally get you using Caroline as a comparison when it came to Elena's saying she didn't want to be a vampire. I was right there with you, Caroline was so scared and confused. Now she's so in control and you can tell how much she loves being a vampire. I love vampire Caroline way more than I loved her as a human. I do also understand what Elena was saying though, I felt bad when she spoke about what she wanted when she got older. No one should have their choices taken away by force. Yes, Tyler bit Damon. Anyways, KLAUS IS HERE!!!!! I love his character so much!!!!
