I honestly agree with you. I'm not a big fan of how they handled the Auslly relationship overall. It feels like the only way they can be together is if they hurt other people. This whole arc was basically the Kira arc all over again. Don't get me wrong; Auslly does have some good moments and some great songs, but how they handled their relationship wasn't great, in my opinion.

He was talking about her the entire night before she even got there. “Oh Ally likes this, oh Ally likes that.” Piper even brought that up. He always thought about her and always had her in mind. She didn’t wan’t to go with Gavin because she realized they weren’t right for each other anymore. like she said she always dreamt of going with the right guy, this was something she’s always wanted for a long time. Years of thinking “ok I’m really hoping to go with the right guy” doesn’t just vanish overnight. And yeah there are some people that wont go if they don’t have a date, that’s just a personal preference. Not everyone is going to have that mindset of oh i’ll just got without a date it will be fine. I mean I went with my friends and it was fine. But if all of my friends had a date and I was the only one that didn’t I’d feel uncomfortable, that’s wouldn’t feel great to me and I probably wouldn’t go.
