Me personally I never judged ally for her decision about not going to the prom with Gavin simply cuz I kinda get it when you’re a young child especially a young teen girl you usually do think about that kinda stuff like what high school’s gonna be like, if or will I ever have a boyfriend, will or will I not go to senior prom, will I have a date,will he be my one true love or not you know stuff like that but you will never understand this cuz you’re not and has never been a teenage/young girl so why would you 😂 and you said you never went to your prom so definitely don’t understand the feeling that being said I think ally was actually very mature in her decision with not taking Gavin cuz again at end of the day she’s still a young girl figuring out her feelings and she has every right to not go if something feels off with who she’s attending with and yes she definitely could have just went with her friends instead but she wanted to have a date and that’s totally ok and honestly it also wouldn’t be fair to Gavin if she went with him anyway and ended up not having a great time in his company especially after all the affort he put in asking her it just wouldn’t be fair kinda like what Austin did who’s also just a young teenage boy still figuring out his feelings so when he first saw ally all those feelings instantly came back like they never left(WHICH THEY DIDN’T) and he realizes ally could potentially be his forever love ❤️ 🥺 it just sucks he realized after the fact cuz of piper his date who he actually did like but that’s the difference between LIKE and LOVE he will always like piper but he will ALWAYS LOVE ally and also the difference between Austin and ally cuz ally realizes this before the extent of another persons feelings whereas Austin realizes after which again poor piper but you can never stop a a potential TRUE LOVE ❤️ ❤️❤️❤️❤️ #auslly4eva

Like he knew she really wanted to go and he just asked her to go to a pig mud run instead. I think that’s when she realized they were of different mindset and that she didn’t like him any more, As far as Trish, she only asked Chuck to enter the dance to get money to visit her boyfriend. Not because she cared that she would go alone, i think Trish would have gone regardless. She wasn’t desperate for a date, she wanted the money.
