This is an episode where you can definitely see the Alli/Manny parallels. All Alli knows about relationships come from tv, movies, magazines, etc. Those outlets say that a guy Johnny’s age only cares about sex, so she felt like she was ready only to please him. Even though Johnny himself never pressured her, she felt like society was pressuring her to do it to be a good girlfriend.

2025-05-20 11:20:17 +0000 UTCI know we’re not supposed to like johnny & alli but I still do. on the same note though I like how they did do the different approach with them instead of making it the cliche storyline of how it usually goes. As far as the Peter & Mia stuff goes though I feel like Peter talking to Darcy behind Mia’s back was wrong & she could’ve had a conversation with him in private instead of at his model un meeting but at the same time though I don’t know what she was expecting or the thought not crossing her mind due to the fact that Peter & Darcy had been dating since season 6 & broke up at the start of this season then him & Mia started dating the next episode after Darcy left which is practically between a day & a week in degrassi time
