Elijah is... suave 😎 is the best word I can think of to describe this quality that many seem to love in him. I don't know if the actor who plays him fit into the role so well, or perhaps it was his own choice to portray Elijah in a certain manner, either way the casting choice here is excellent. ☺️👌🏻

You were asking if the dagger will also kill Alaric when he used it on Elijah. And it won't affect Alaric because he is human. When Elena reads the journal about the dagger, it says "It must be brandished by humans alone for it will bring death to all demons who wield it." This means vampires who would use it would die. So John purpusely gave it to Damon hoping to kill two birds with one stone.

I freaking love Elijah so I'm right there with you, he's really cool and charming. I didn't like that they planned to and daggered him either 😭 technically he's still alive, just dead while the dagger is in him but still, I like him.
It's so interesting to see Damon and Stefan's character swap in the early years of them being a vampire. I love the flash backs they're so detailed, we always get so much information. Also I don't blame Stefan for wanting Elena to fight to stay alive, she needs to.
John showed up to the dinner because he wanted to see Damon die after he thought he would be the one to dagger Elijah. Also because he's annoying and nosey, if you can't tell he's the character I hate the absolute most in this show so far 😂
