2025-04-15 21:24:28 +0000 UTCas a kid i didnt know who david hasslehoff was and even now whenever i see him im like “thats the guy from the spongebob movie!!” i didnt get it as a reference i just thought he was some lifeguard guy but i thought it was really funny how his body is just a boat and hes not really moving his arms or legs, as a kid it was one of my favorite parts of the movie :) im glad they didnt really do someone who was famous to kids in 2004. plus there werent really any prominent characters you’d find on a beach instead of him. it being someone like david hasselhoff makes it timeless to me 😊
