2025-02-10 06:18:13 +0000 UTCyes i agree the cheating/liberty storyline was unnecessary. and completely out of character for liberty. the last few minutes were the best part of the episode. they should've leaned into the graduation/honoring JT thing more for the entire episode and not just the last few moments. i only watched up until season 9 in my original viewing of this show. couldn't get used to the new characters that came on after the original crew left. so if you choose to keep watching past that point, i'll be watching those seasons for the first time with you. curious if they'll deliver like the original TNG cast did.

The main storyline was not it at all and the writers were trying to trick us into thinking Liberty and Emma were friends this whole time. I genuinely think the last time those two had a friendly conversation was in S2. After the Chris thing in S4, I don’t think those two have interacted much at all. Overall, I enjoyed this season a lot more than from what I remembered. I think outside of this episode and the Ellie/Marco episode, all the other episodes were good to great.

2025-02-09 07:36:57 +0000 UTCsame, I think one of the first episodes I ever saw of Degrassi was either from season 8 or 9 if it wasn't Degrassi: takes Manhattan but I truly think it was season 9 ( I remember the episode but I don't wanna spoil 😭). then with the shark in the water promo, season 10 was the first season I watched fully

2025-02-09 06:00:48 +0000 UTCjt's tassel flip gets me every time but they definitely could have done a lot more with their graduation given they are our first gen graduates. also as far as seasons 8-12 we get a bunch of new characters as each season goes on, so the gaps are always filled in
