this show definitely is way over the top and dramatic but it was one of my favs when i was a kid. Farkle gets 1000% better and by the end of it is my favorite character personally but i cant lie it took some time. i think around next season is when he got better for me.

I got way too invested and fought like I was in the trenches on fandom socials about the ships and dynamics lol. Lucas and maya are just my favourite. Could never be arsed with riley and lucas and their non-existent chemistry. Now that i'm older I don't worship the show like I used to and recognise very valid critiques of it being overly-preachy and forceful with it's 'deep' storylines, or not as mature in it's tackling of subjects as boy meets world, but it will always have a special place in my heart. Maya and shawn's characters especially.

I recall you saying that you were considering watching this show on your own (not per request) because you enjoyed it, and you were interested in the Lucas/Maya dynamic. It was easily the most popular ship back when the show was airing. And believe me, it only gets better. You HAVE to finish the show.
