Worse than Zod, doomsday, bizarro etc. You made a comment around like episode 7 or something of this season that I actually never thought about where you posed the question why wasn't the big bad for the season Just Lex Coming back, slowly through the clones? Such a great idea and it would've been the ultimate buildup and the story wouldn't have been so choppy and convoluted throughout the season. Don't get me wrong I love p2 of the finale and this season has some AMAZING moments and episodes but as a whole it was poorly organized and Darkseid was the worst part of it. And this is me not being too overly critical too To answer your question on why they erased Lex's memories my theory was always to turn into the comicbook Lex where he had no attachments to Clark At all and we also see Luthor Corp turn into Lex Corp with the letters falling. I always liked that, cuz the show always harkened on Lex's natural Evil Nature so the assumption is he will turn out that way but this time with less attachment. I found it clever and tess dying was fitting imo. She was a tragic character Oh and lets not get started on the actor who played jimmy olsen playing his little brother with the same name -_-. 2024-12-05 12:22:46 +0000 UTCThank you for reacting to one of the best DCTV comic book shows of all time. For me this was the show that made the live action DC shows popular. Without Smallville, there is no Arrowverse so I am happy that you got to watch it and that you stuck with it during those bad times or times where you wanted to just quit the show. I felt that something was missing with this series finale but it was an okay finale. It wasn't the worst but it was just solid. The world just keeps going which is alright. Not everything needs a closure in a way. If you want to stick with Superman, I would recommend watching the Lois & Clark show! That series was great and only four seasons. I forgot if you did watch the first two Christopher Reeves Superman Movies but would also recommend those.

2024-12-04 19:44:46 +0000 UTCThis finale was good, not great though. The fights with darkseid and stuff was bad, but they hit on Clark stepping up to become Superman. Flying, seeing all the flashbacks, getting the suit. It's very superman to rescue the plane that has Lois in it, also she got her big break to become the world famous Lois Lane with the interview with the President. So they hit those points well. Also loved seeing Lex back, but hated the mind wipe. That's probably the choice I hated the most. So the whole series of seeing him become evil was rendered moot. I know they were trying to line up with the comics with Lex not knowing who superman is and no Tess/Lionel, but it was so dumb. The whole point of the series was seeing the path both Clark and Lex take to become their iconic characters. It cheapend the entire series to me. Still one of my top 5 favorite series of all time though. You should do Superman and Lois next if you wanted to keep the Superman theme. It's on Max and just wrapped the series finale (although I haven't watched this season yet) It's only 4 seasons, but it's so good with writing, acting, cinemenography, effects, all of it is A+ imo. Anyways, it was so fun going through this series with you.
