Ya this part definitely doesn't hold up. Love your realistic reaction. He really was dismissing her and could have messed with her career. And I'm with you they should have given it a reason like losing his sister made him feel like life is too short or something. I mean Jesse has always been impulsive but they did make that feel kind of toxic.

But there are a few episode that just don't work because they send the wrong message that wouldn't fly anymore today. But, luckily it's a handful on over a 150 episode, so that's a good record. Love your comment about Jess's dad! Definitely something that's at play here.

Maybe I was too young to see the red flags but yeah...this episode Jesse doesn't hold up well for me either. Your reaction was hilarious though 🤣🤣
