i totally agree hyde and jackie are the better couple just based on the higher level of mutual respect, but i would argue the only other advantage jackie and kelso have as a couple aside from years of history is they have way more in common than jackie does with hyde. there's several moments that demonstrate that kelso actually likes listening to jackie talk about the shallow stuff she's into, or at the very least he listens to her when she does. you could argue tho that their similarities were actually a disadvantage in the long term, since they're too similar to one another to help each other change and grow, but it probably made the early stages of the relationship a lot easier than the one she has with hyde.
