He definitely could have taken what she said and tried to rebuild their friendship slowly, but it was like a good guy overcompensating. I think he cared about her and when she said that he was like, oh god, she thinks I never cared about this friendship. That’s how I took it. Shawn knows how much Cory loves him, Angela didn’t know
