I wish they would have used the Xavier storyline to bring back Jack and Sam. They could have given statements too regarding the impact of his crimes and the likelihood he would reoffend. It's wild that they found Q's things on Xavier and he didn't get charged separately for that.

Love the shirt. I respect that Chase wanted to protect Chuck. Clearly his mother couldn't. It makes total sense that Chase hasn't cared about anyone vulnerable like he cares about Chuck. He knows nobody else is protecting Chuck and he's neglected by his alcoholic mom. Poor Haley. That's a horrible position to be in. I was ok with the Clay reveal but there are definitely plot holes. Trauma does wild things though. Maybe the memories were trying to surface because he is in a place now with Quinn and having friends in Tree Hill where he could see having a kid in the picture.

I hope you replace this with Life Unexpected which had a OTH crossover ep), Instant Star, Revenge, or Felicity

i think he's saying he'd rather the show give a completely ridiculous twist that he can have fun with and suspend disbelief (like a ghost)...rather than what they did, which was try to make their twist a believable, serious storyline. because the way this twist was executed was completely ridiculous. it doesn't make sense that the child wouldn't be staying with one of clay or sarah's relatives. and it makes even less sense that we didn't see any of clay or sarah's relatives trying to contact clay to tell him he had a child. and yes i know the doctor tried to explain this away by saying "we tried to tell you, but you didn't believe us". but why would they just stop trying. clay has been on the show for 2 1/2 seasons. we didn't see them try to contact him and the show gave no indication or even the slightest inkling that he had a child. so the twist looks random, out of the blue, and poorly executed.

the reveal that clay has a kid wasn't a bad twist, but the way they executed it was terrible. it would've been a better twist if they'd hinted at it over the last couple of seasons. clay has been around since season 7 and the show gave zero inkling that he had a child. and then they tried to explain this away in the most haphazard, lazy way.

and to call clay a deadbeat father for something he had no control over? Like his trauma and his brain wouldn't allow him to remember he had a son he didn't on purpose abandon Logan. He's been through so much and this doesn't make him a bad person at all. I think something could happen like this in real life when you experience trauma but probably not to this extreme.

brother HOW on earth is logan being a GHOST a better story in your eyes than clay having a son he blocked out due to trauma. that reveal was awesome. i understand you don’t like the show but you keep hoping for the worst writing decisions of all time and then when they turn out to be normal you hate it lol.
also chase has never shown he has this in him because he’s never cared about anybody like chuck i feel like that makes plenty sense

He's not going to watch that first because it's a spoiler of the original.
