You’re also forgetting what Lucus did incorrectly. He wasn’t trying to kill Hanna. Back in season 2, when lucus brought Hanna on that boat and they made it seem like he was gonna hurt her (probably what your alluding to) lucus said to Hanna later that he was just nervous and was not trying to hurt her. He’d lost all Caleb’s money gambling and was nervous about telling Hanna so that’s why he brought her on boat alone. Odd place to do it, yeah. But he never tried to hurt them. Hanna apologized after that for reading that wrong and just felt awkward for a bit after that misunderstanding.
