Audrey has been different every since Pacey went out with his work buddies after telling her he had to work. She overreacted and was drinking and kissing some random guy and if not for Jen and C.J., she woulda slept with the random guy. Pacey is trying to get her to talk some, but she won’t open up and has some issues she’s not revealing. This was start of her issues I think and she isn’t opening up about it. Didn’t come out of the blue, it’s part of a storyline, they didn’t do this to her randomly
