Full House "Working Mothers" 2x13 Reaction

Comments

I understand why the girls are upset and why the guys gave up the jobs. This is just a side job and wasn’t their dream job. Sure it sounds good to us because we probably don’t have anything else to look at. The girls… Joey and Jesse are the only babysitters together had. We are just assuming they don’t have to work on the weekends. As DJ pointed out that they already missed so much of their stuff already. Love your reactions to these. ❤️🥰

I get it's kinda silly they'd give up the job. Where would Michelle go though? Even if she goes to kindergarten does that usually go all day? I get they shouldn't give it up just cuz the girls are sad but there should be some consideration about someone being there when the girls get home, picking them up from school (kindergartens don't have a bus), taking them to their extracurriculars, or needing to pay for after school programs. Michelle isn't in kindergarten yet and Stephanie probably isn't in school til the end of a 9-5 day. There could be some neglect issues brought up with kids going home to an empty house. There definitely are households where both parents work and I definitely wouldn't advocate that all families should have a stay at home parent, but there are definitely considerations, concessions, and potentially extra costs involved especially when kids are younger. This episode only really focused on the emotional aspect of the kids missing them but there are practical considerations too.

I only liked Michelle's storyline this episode. Her locking her family out every chance she got for some me-time. I felt that.

The whole concept of Joey and Jesse quitting their jobs over a misunderstanding with DJ and Stephanie was kinda stupid and not needed. They both are in school during the day, so why would they need someone to watch them if they aren’t even home of the day. Plus it’s not like Danny, Jesse, or Joey would work on weekends when the kids are home, so it defeats the whole purpose of this episode. I’m glad Jesse and Joey got the job, but they should’ve told a different story than what we got

This episode has always been one of my least favorites
