Caroline wasn't there because she was visiting her father, Matt mentioned it at the beginning of the episode. As for Bonnie, you will notice that they do this often with her character... it lowkey has to do a bit with the producer of the show, but they probably are going to explain her absence as taking "time off" after her grandma's death

2024-09-25 20:19:14 +0000 UTCShe is lying to everyone, she even had someone manipulate Jeremy's memories, all to protect them from the truth. Not entirely sure who made that her decision, though. Matt's mom is aweful. Tyler was wrong for his part, but Matt's mom is the adult, so she holds 100% of the responsibility for fooling around with a child. Matt also had no right to kick his mom out of her own house so the fact that she left meant she wanted to abandon her son again and leave him to be responsible for keeping a roof over his own head.
