Hey everyone! We're here with a major update to tide us over till the end of the year. It's been a whirlwind couple of months - from Unity's service roller-coaster ride to our artist's unexpected exit. Talk about a wild ride!

Comprehensive Update Time!

The Game Lowdown:

Virtual Pet Space: This area is a little gem. Our character roams around, thanks to a slick behavior tree that spices up her actions. She moves and does her thing, bringing life to the space, though you can't interact with her directly. But hey, there are events where you can influence her reactions. (Note: These won't feature in the demo, sorry!) Our AI pathfinding makes sure she stays on-screen, and it's all working like a charm. Chef's kiss!


WERK Select Menu: We've nailed the UI theme, but it's still a work in progress. 

Functionally it's there, but we're ironing out some kinks.


Strip Tease Game: This is where the real magic happens. It's primarily a visual development stage right now, but the underlying mechanics are intriguing. The game uniquely analyzes a song in real-time, meaning the gameplay can vary with each session, offering a fresh experience every time. Your task? Hit notes corresponding to various dance moves, each with distinct energy and excitement stats. Some moves are energy-intensive but ramp up the excitement more, and vice versa. The key is to balance your energy and excitement - keep the excitement meter high while managing your energy reserves. The excitement meter naturally declines, so you need to constantly keep it fueled, whereas the energy bar replenishes over time. If your energy hits zero, you're in a bind – no dancing, no note hitting. The climax? Get that excitement meter soaring by the time the song wraps up. It's a blend of strategic planning, rhythm, and a bit of math. We're still fine-tuning the mechanics, like adding bonuses to your score based on how you manage these meters by the end of the song. It's shaping up to be a truly dynamic and engaging part of the game.



Art Adventures:

After our previous artist's sudden departure (leaving us with just renders), we're in the thick of rebuilding source assets. It's a costly, time-consuming task. Currently, we're testing two artists to see if they can vibe with our existing style. We'll reveal the chosen artist once the ink dries on the contract (yep, we're doing contracts now for safety).

Plus, we've got an exciting collaboration brewing with another artist. Details will be shared post the new artist's signing for the base game.
