Month end progress report
Added 2025-03-03 18:46:07 +0000 UTCWell, February has passed, and as usual, it has passed very quickly. Too short month. I didn't make much progress with rendering, as the new video card arrived on the 10th. After that, I tested the hardware for a few days, to see what and how I could render, what its limits were. Although I did render some images for Rise on the following days, I didn't start the actual work until the 15th, and even after that there were some detours. For example, some of the images rendered with the old VGA were re-rendered without reducing the textures, so the quality of the pictures is much better.
So February was more about getting to know, testing and improving, but now in March I'll be working flat out. By the end of March, I will probably see how long it will take to complete the chapter. Meanwhile, I'm writing Chapter 11 and Chapter 12 is starting to come together in note form.
