Hey everyone! As summer rolls around, we've suddenly got a massive wave of One Piece news and exciting projects to look forward to, and as I am swiftly improving, I hope I'll be there to cover all of them, and I hope you'll be there to join along in the journey!

There's been a lot of speculation about what Emerald City could really be, considered it's compared to the City of Gold and the One Piece itself. Of course, the simplest answer is that it was just some random example, but it would be really cool if it was brought back somehow. In my Return to the Reverie fan manga, I presented the idea that perhaps the Emerald City could be God Valley. It would make sense, since it's an island that has since become legend, plus it did look very green-colored in the anime. I've also seen people point out how Elegia, the main setting of One Piece Film RED, has these gigantic emeralds scattered around the island. So maybe Oda's deciding to follow up on that idea now for the movie? Hard to say really since there's different choices he could go with, but I really hope he does recall it someday!
