The first couple episodes are mostly about establishing a few core ideas: the massive party, the discrimination of humans, and the state of the world of One Piece. By themselves they seem a bit redundant, but future episodes recontextualize them on a much more important scale, as you might've noticed with Episode 3 explaining why the discrimination of humans was so fundamental to drive Joy Boy's own ideals. So, as I at least would like to think, believe that the True History will get more interesting the deeper we dive closer to the end! I hope you enjoy the journey!

2021-11-26 16:25:00 +0000 UTCI felt like the second episode was a bit repetitive, but it did serve as further proof of what was explained in episode 1, so I was fine with it. However, I really liked this episode. If the rest of the series is like this then I'm very excited. Keep up the good work!
