Switching Things Up (For Hopefully the Last Time in a Long While)
Added 2023-09-01 05:40:58 +0000 UTCHello, friends!
We've once again futzed around with our tiers because things have drastically changed in our lives. Jared, Wiggle, and I have more going on than we did previously thanks to the limping economy and explosion of new toddler abilities that need to be properly honed. That said, we've decided to return to our roots and make our comics available to everyone... eventually. On our website. For free. Yay!
We will also be changing up how much of a comic we will release at a time. It's going to be unpredictable for a while, since we will be making progress on different projects that utilize different mediums simultaneously. Some months might not even see comic pages released. Know, however, that there will always be something interesting to look at (or listen to, or watch, or play) for our early access-having patrons one way or another. Once we iron out cloning ourselves to put into different project teams, this will no longer be an issue, but the technology just isn't there yet. Not to mention that the failed clones are troublesome. There isn't enough hot chocolate to go around, so they've become aggressive.
Anyway.
Our marvelous patrons will continue to have early access and a number of perks in return for their generous support, but now everyone who is putting any money toward our endeavors will be privy to the same lore and extras. The different tiers will have separate badges and roles on Discord as incentive to pick more generous tiers, but we want you to know that anything that you can give will help us take a step off of the paycheck treadmill and keep us telling our stories to the fine folk who care to hear them. We cannot thank you enough for getting us this far, and we hope that you'll continue to indulge us so we can continue to give it our best.
So... where's the new "That Which is Unseen"? And "Unseen Compendium" entry? And behind the scenes goodies? In progress that is nearing completion, I promise. This month was... too much. A lot kept my hands, knees, and back very busy with moving a family member out of her house. Everything ended well, though. It's a bittersweet door that has been closed, and in the closing it frees me up to accomplish more here for you fine folk. And, to ensure that all is fair and proper, we will be once again pausing payments for next month (September) in order to balance the scales of what has been paid and what has been delivered. If we've learned anything from the fae, you honor your contracts -legal, verbal, and implied- or else.
Thanks for reading, thanks for your patience, and thanks for sticking with us, friends! Let's go on some adventures together.
-Katie, and the rest of the Team Nascosto crew
