August is late, but coming!
Added 2024-09-02 09:55:09 +0000 UTCHi you all! Just a reminder that August 2024 is the last month of "monthly" mail club. We are now "quarterly." Your monthly subscription charge will now be 8$ (same price per shipment. / less shipments per year)
Also: some of you know that I've been working on a pop-up letterform book for the past five years (your July mailing, in fact, was a little teaser.) The file will likely get sent to the printer in the next week. Tomorrow, I have a meeting with an international distributor to determine which book stores will carry the book. A Kickstarter is in the works. It is all very exciting! It also means that I am shamefully late on August's mail project.
BUT! There was a byproduct of the book-making project that I can include as a bonus (when I do mail out rewards in a few weeks.) A big part of the book is made from RISO-printed illustrations and photos (chronicling typographic history.) These sheets were scanned to be printed in the mass-produced book. But I have a giant pile of originals here (see video above). They aren't enough to be a standalone mailing. But they look really cool. So you're getting some as part of a larger package. I'll post again here in a few weeks to announce that the [very late] August packages have shipped.
