July: Interactive RISO posters
Added 2024-07-31 13:00:59 +0000 UTCHi all, For July, I made 13x19" risographed (and lasercut posters) that are… sort of magic? Turn the wheel to get more animation than you might expect from a simple gesture (like a whole galaxy of animation!) This design is the letter O from my new book ("Alphabet in Motion" coming out later this yeah.)
Also- I'll post about this again, but monthly mail club was always intended to be a year-long experiment. This poster is July's project and then we have one more before the year is up. I've decided to keep running it, but on a quarterly basis. What that means for you: you'll get a quarter of the packages at a quarter of the cost. (So every 3 months for mailings and 8$/month.) You do not need to change anything about your membership, it will happen automatically.
Why not continue??! This is fun! (And I'll get more sleep if its quarterly! lol) :)

I started in the middle of this project so I missed all of the early mailings. Do you have any "back issues" that I could pick up too? another idea: a box of all of the first year's mailings? That would make an incredible gift for some of my other nerdy friends.
