Solution: How to Fold this Rotating Sphere

May's project will be shipping-out this week (a post about it is imminent!) but I wanted to post a video showing how to solve/complete the Poptical Illusion pop-up of rotating circles (from April, which hopefully everyone has received by now.)
Step 1:) Wind all of the circular rings in the same direction, as far as they will go. The rings in the center will be able to wind farther than the rings around the periphery. Keep going until each ring as wound as far as it can possible go.
Step 2:) The zig-zag score lines on the left and right accomodate all of this winding by scrunching up into a up-down-up-down formation (that is…mountain-valley-mountain-valley, in origami-speak.) Once you see that formation appear, you can pinch it with your finger to make it permanent.
