I think it says less about the amount you go to a place and more the amount your baristas care about getting you the coffee you like. Everyone's tastes in coffee is a bit different and every other barista I've worked with has truly strived to make people feel welcome and comfortable. Part of that is knowing you and what you like. Im sure LA coffee culture has its differences but I work in honolulu so still a pretty decent volume of customers. I don't know if this alleviates any of the discomfort for you in being a regular, but I hope it does 🫡
