This is so good I want to cry. A lot of people say much better than first episodes. I actually also liked those, as it was a little easier to follow the story though the noice of laughter. This was one of the best episodes so far, along with the big fight and Anvil and Hammer reveal. Everyone had a moment to shine. Leonas great per usual (Aiden crushes it with the dream sequence roleplays), the dynamic between Rone - Georg - Stonebeard - Pamola was beautiful. All the backstory. I lost it at the "I had surgery on my hairline" and "What's her shell count?" parts.

Dhampirs are playable in standard 5e and are technically undead, so are Reborn who are not technically undead I think but are dead who are now alive frankensteins mosnter style. Proper Vampires also have rules for playing in one of the planeshift rules books I believe. But no skeletons or zombies as they aren't thinking creatures. The closest to thinking true undead are like Revenants or Wights but they don't have offical rules for playing as a PC. Presumably because both are inherently evil and driven by a particular purpose for Wights that is a general hate for all living things and Revenants it is revenge on someone or someones for their death/a wrong done to them. But like you can always just homebrew rules if thinking PC undead fit the world for the campaign.

This was an amazing episode but I wish they were longer these episodes are like half as long as a typical D&D series episode which normally last 2-3 hours. Maybe it's intentional, maybe it's because of schedule constraints, idk i just would like them to be a bit longer.

So in dnd canon, tortles actually live absurdly short, typically around 50 years, with 80 being relatively long Tortles usually live longer if they never have kids, though georg already has had one so that doesnt bode well for him HOWEVER, alot of dms dont agree with the idea that a turtle based race would live shorter lives than an actual turtle, and homebrew them to live to ages more similar to half-elves
