You can sell the game to someone else and now they have the license and you don’t anymore. It’s how it already works basically. The only change is the cartridges that won’t have the game files on them so the card will be a physical license for a digital copy of the game which you could also sell but with that you’re relying on the servers staying up so you can download the game.
