I think movies like Sharknado or scary movie are absurd because they're making fun of tropes, and usually are embracing a smaller budget and the filmmakers are trying to make something good by making something funny through a shared humor. Where the Minecraft movie feels like they never wanted to make something good a board of people got in a room to find out what jokes would be funny to people so they could sell the most tickets I think. It's not embracing a smaller budget to make something with wide appeal It's like a 200 million dollar ad campaign to make a billion dollars. I think it's just soulless in a lot of ways. As someone who has hoarder parents, you can hide it sometimes. My parents had so much shit in our garage that it was supposed to be for 2 cars and they could only precariously fit one. It wasn't like big stuff either, it was crumpled boxes on boxes full of random baby clothes, hand-held appliances, some were just empty boxes they wanted to save. Eventually, they decided they wanted to use their garage space, so they had to rent a commercial industrial dumpster TWICE during summer in Texas to get rid of most of it. As someone with a little bit of experience in this area, the fundamental issue with nick’s argument of not being a hoarder because he hides his stuff well is that the mental health aspect is not being addressed. Hoarding is a form of mental illness and, to me, he’s one mental break from going down that path to being an “actual hoarder.” Of course every situation is different and I’m not pretending to know him. It sounds like Nick is using FF Viewer (or a derivative like FF Explorer, FF Viewer Blue, or theunkn0wn’s modified version), which explains the problems he's encountering. For later games tools like GSC Studio or GSC IDE plugins give proper editor features, but for the CoD4 .ff files (binary/compressed format containing .gsc/cfg/etc files) he'd still need to use something like FF Viewer or FF Compiler to repack things to be loaded onto the console. From a quick search, it looks like all links to prasoc's original FF Viewer source code are no longer active and unfortunately not archived, apart from a decompiled version. If anyone has/finds the source, it should be relatively straightforward to add support for basic features like copy/paste with formatting (as long as you keep within the .ff file size/byte layout limitations), but maybe that's what Otto already did.

Yeah, i am a borderline problematic hoarder and nick basically explained all of the thought processes that I go through constantly, except the most damning of all. As someone who really values routine and consistency i also tend to accumulate large volumes of the same things, and once it passes a point i will convince myself either its funny to have so many of something, or it shows how committed i am to whatever routine.
