mickey mouse ranks malding rn. Diamond is above average, it's a good rank, it's nowhere near peak of the playerbase as GM has meant for years in OW, Valo, LoL, etc. They purposefully made the names feel inflated to push you to play more.

it's not that riot made the concept of ranked, it's that their ranking tier system was the most commonly used across comp games for years (LoL, Valo, Overwatch, etc), so using the nomenclature for the peak of the playerbase (GM) for a rank equivalent to Diamond (above average) IS the definition of a mickey mouse rank

I've gotta defend marvel rivals. The hero shooter genre has been so dry because overwatch turned into dogshit. Since its released it has been so much fun to play. It probably is hard to watch if you don't know anything about the game, I feel like its simar to mobas in that aspect. Also I think GM3 is like top 8-10% of players.

"Marvel Rivals sucks" - Man who gets slightly under mediocre at a game and worships it. But to be fair, Rivals does suck to watch.
