Hey! Recap + Europa Slate

Hey gang!

Awful day today! 1-6. -5.2u. No excuses but always sucks missing so many reads. 1 more goal in that Madrid would have really softened the blow and flipped two losses. Still not great reads from me but would have been nice! Moving forward as always!

3 Europa Conference plays from me and then 3 from an article on our good friends Leverkusen! 1u each! Looking to recoup the losses this weekend!

Europa + Conference Slate :

Fiorentina v Viktoria Plzen. Fiorentina ML + Under 3.5 goals. +100. 12:45pm. Europa Conference

Lille v Aston Villa. Over 2.5 goals. -135. 12:45pm ET. Europa Conference

Fenerbache v Olympiacos. BTTS + Over 2.5 goals. -110. 3pm ET

WEST HAM UNITED F.C. vs. BAYER LEVERKUSEN | 4/18 | 3 p.m. ET
Picks:

Leverkusen are enjoying a solid 2-0 lead in aggregate scoring off the first leg, and West Ham are probably just grateful that lead isn't larger. Leverkusen absolutely hammered the Hammers with shots in the first leg, putting up 33 shots with 13 on target in the first leg while West Ham putting up only a single shot. The gap in skill between these two sides should be too much for the Hammers to bounce back, and we could be in for an ugly second leg depending on how focused Xabi Alonso and his men are coming into this competition.

Leverkusen pulled off something incredible over the weekend, winning  the Bundesliga title and becoming the first club to win over Bayern Munich in over a decade. They remains the only undefeated club across all competitions in Europe and they are now in full pursuit of a miraculous treble. Leverkusen also likely celebrated their success this weekend after winning the league, so there's a chance this club is a bit distracted going into this second leg knowing they're already up 2-0 against West Ham.

However, this is a club that has the potential to pretty much beat everyone. Leverkusen are so good right now that a rotated and maybe even distracted squad is still better than the best West Ham squad.

West Ham expect to still be missing star player Jarrod Bowen, and without him leading the line this is a team that you don't want to back in any capacity. The lines are soft right now for Leverkusen, but I believe Alonso is going to continue his pursuit of a perfect season and a treble, so I'm backing the Bundesliga club on the road in this second leg.
