BTS: Prep for Prison Program Packing
Added 2025-08-21 17:51:33 +0000 UTCWe’re packing hundreds of books for our incarcerated members this week! Here’s some behind the scenes on some of the prep that goes into packing week. Along with updating our databases, processing letters and managing our inventory, we spend hours moving and organizing material and mailing to prep for the three days of packing.

I recently discovered a Black woman-owned independent bookstore in the Bronx (which is an hour or more away from Brooklyn); it is called The Lit. Bar. The staff member said that it might be possible for a new chapter of Noname Book Club to meet there (!) Might you share pro tips for starting and sustaining a new Book Club chapter in a future video?
