Still house hunting.

Still working the same job.

Doing my best, but my best isn’t quite enough right now.

My partner and I have been trying desperately to find a new place to live but nothing has worked out.

From the sheer amount of rejection I was experiencing, I decided to do something nice for myself and went to ask about hair extensions.

I left with a quote for $2k-$3k just for hair…

Safe to say that I won’t be doing that any time soon…

Currently we are still applying for places, but I am trying to keep my head down to prevent setting myself up for more disappointment to protect what is left of my mental health.

I’ve started back at the gym consistently to control what I can while things feel out of control.

Remember that keeping your head up sometimes feels impossible, but it’s all you can do. It might drive you crazy to hear it or even try it, but the fight is worth it in the end.

I’m very fortunate for the support that I receive and the love I have in my life. Most of my life has been filled with hardships and pain that I’ve been trying very hard to overcome. Constantly feeling like I’ve been playing catch up. Always asking when I would catch a break. But though it’s hard, there’s finally a light at the end of the tunnel. I’m almost there and I can feel it now. So it’s hard, but I’ll keep moving.

Sorry for that rant, it’s just been a long month and has made me reflect on a lot.
