The great mind commanding the Stormscales is none other than the Stromsage Krah'ahk. A rare mutation of the defenders left behind by the ancient civilization that used to inhabit the ruin cities, he saw a celestial threat he deemed worth his attention. Thus he began amassing his troops, binding the Stormscales on the earth and reinforcing the storm that would keep the threat out. He can call lightning on a whim to turn his enemies to ash, levitate with a thought, and forever scryes the aether for enemies. In truth, Krah'ahk is unsure of his plot and seeks to spread the storm as far as he can to shield the world to the best of his abilities.

The greatest reptiles of the ancient cities, Stormspines are the storm made scaly flesh. They breath thunder, spit electricity, and bellow lightning. Little can stand up to them in combat, and only the most cunning Stormscsales dare approach and befriend them. Once a bond is established, the Scale will share in the Spine's might, and their thunderous approach can oft be heard far across even the densest jungle. As trees disintegrate and brush is trampled underfoot, it becomes increasingly clear who rules this particular ecosystem.

The greatest of the Stormscale warriors are the Storm Brutes. Armed with Thunderfists, they wildly lash out in great arcs of energy that can incinerate trees in single strikes. They are the chosen, their weapons adapting their bodies to suit them. With the savagery of wild animals, they drive their enemies into corners before flattening them, the ground, and quite often the corner as well. Electricity sparks off them as they run and bound. The lesser Stormscales often poke and prod them to charge in the right direction, although surviving adventurers tell that this behavior has led to infighting too when Brutes struck back into their own ranks. None the less, their power is so immense that even standing near one is a danger in and of itself. Some surviving explorers report that the lightning passively sparking off the Brutes has slain their now-missing compatriots.

Deep in the jungles of the Southern Hemisphere, ancient cities can be found. They may appear forgotten and crumbling at first, but this appearance belies a much grander and far more dangerous reality. At certain times, lizardlike warriors prowl these ancient cities. Adventurers and explorers tell tales of these scaly fiends appearing out of nowhere in great flashes of lightning as soon as the skies have darkened. They will viciously tear at anything within the cities and have caused harm to many intrepid adventurers. However, they never leave the boundaries of the cities and will retreat as soon as all invaders are chased away. Recently however, they have ventured far beyond the borders of their cities, and the clouds promising a stormy end have followed them.

These engines are dragged out of the ruined cities and now form a veritable network across the continent. At Krah'ahk's command, they will unleash a storm unlike the world has ever seen. The dark day that he has beheld in his scrying has not yet come, but unceasingly the Stormscales prepare for the coming of the threat they were born to halt.
Hope you will enjoy this shocking month! Because I am DONE with Lightning puns! If I can be honest, I am never sculpting Lightning again, what a tedious process.
But yea, last month of the season! It has been fun sculpting something living.. but enough of that stuff LETS GO BACK TO GHOSTS! Next season will be a ton of ghosts for wargaming, and I might add a loyalty reward ;) But more on that later. Enjoy this bundle for now!
And as always,
Happy Printing,
Frederik
