After Lotharius corrupted the blood wells about a year ago, and found a way back to the mortal realm, he started to invade the empire he once build. With the chaos of Ghuls and Geists causing havoc and internal turmoil in the Vastari Empire, Lotharius slowly conquered city by city, country side by contry side. Until he reached the Capitol of the Vastari Empire. After a long siege, he finally set foot in the throne room and locked eyes on Kai'zhar Kastaroth, who sat on the throne where he once sat. This was the duel that would conclude it all, everything was led up to this point, and after what could have been a long battle turned out to be rather quick. Lotharius had grown much stronger than they had anticipated, and quickly struck Kastaroth down.

After a quiet moment of silence, Lotharius gazed upon his empire in ruin. Most of the population turned undead, which he was in control of. He had a choice, either end it all, as he has considered on multiple occassions, or embrace his new powers, and bring the Ruined Empire into a new era. Before even considering the outcomes of each, Lotharius stood on the edge of the Main Blood Well, the well he created so many centuries ago, pulsating with immense blood magic. He took a deep breath, and dropped into the well, silence.

In the capitol, and the surrounding area could feel a heavy shift in atmosphere, as if the air itself withered away, as Lotharius ascended from the blood well. Blood magic swirling around him, the surrounding walls started to crumble and fall. Those who stood in the throne room with Lotharius gazed upon a new, larger body emerge, bones pumped full of blood and soul magic, cloaks seeming to shift between solid and ethereal material. A new entity stood before them, a new God was born.
Lotharius, the God of Ruination stood before them, and every single undead entity knew of their newfound master. All hail Lotharius, all hail the God of Ruination, all he brings is the end of creation, his will be the last of all.
