2025-06-19 12:19:36 +0000 UTCI think making a one shot is good if you are trying to pitch an idea to a company or if you’re just trying to get an idea out there. It becomes pointless when all you’re making is one shots and have no intention of starting an actual series (ddmark and this Viz Originals one shot program. Not a single one shot from the Viz Originals program has become a series, and none of the one shots on Manga Plus Creators other than No/Name have become a serialized series 🤦🏾♂️).
