Battles are coming!
Added 2020-10-30 19:21:17 +0000 UTCIt's been quite the work in progress, but I'm happy to say that battles are almost here! We are currently in the testing stages for battles, but are very close to completion. We will begin testing today with the staff team & a few of our Shiny Patreon supporters.
Currently, battling will be limited to computer-controlled battles. This is intentional because we'd like to test the battle infrastructure before releasing player-controlled battles in the coming weeks. However, you have the option to battle other computer-controlled users & their teams with ;battle user {user id or mention}.
Completing a region will come with rewards. The rewards are still a work in progress, but completing all of the gyms/elite fours & champion is something that you should definitely aim for.
More details on the battling system will come soon with an announcement once testing is complete. Ideally, battles will be release at the start of November (Fingers crossed for Nov 1st/2nd). It will be a slow release, so trainers that are more experienced & Patreon supporters will get early access to the feature.
