Wow! Thats so freakin awesome to be a descendant of the Fraser family. I can defenitly understand why you like the show so much. Awesome to have a Fraser in my comment section 😁

Bonnet is defenitly a more fysically agressive man wereas BJR liked to mentally torture first and then get fysical. Both isnt oke and deserve the noose imo, Bonnet. If Jamie gets his hands on him, will defenitly kill him. No doubt on my mind about that. Would be super awesome if Diana based Riverrun on Riverrun from GRRM after a night of diner and drinks. Pretty cool that they are good friends. Oh i defenitly will watch the blooper reals, they are hilarious 😁 thanks!

When I first watched this and saw they were in North Carolina, I cracked up! My ancestors lived there during this time period and were a part of Clan Fraser of Lovat (part of the family but our last name isn't Fraser (a "sept")) I about freaked out when I first started watching the show and got to their wedding episode. When he said his motto was "Je suis prest" I called my mom to tell her. 😄 It's what got her interested in the show actually.

Wow on to season 4 already! Well as you can see they're planning on staying in America. Yes Stephen Bonnet is a bad man, perhaps not in the way Black Jack was, I think he was more psychologically twisted, whereas I think Bonnet is just without scruples and morals and is a nasty piece of work. Regards, the River Run connection, I've often wondered about that, Drums of Autumn (which season 4 was based on) was published December 1996 and the first GOT book was published August 1996. However GRRM and Diana Gabaldon are good friends and dine together monthly so there may have been intentional crossover, hard to say. Lord Tryon who offers Jamie the land grant, was a real person. Incidentally, he's played by the actor Tim Downie who appeared in a series of Tennants lager adverts with Sam Heughan a few years back, they're good buddies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrxW5yy1Ses If you ever get a spare moment, you should check out some of the blooper reels from the show, always a good laugh.
