In the case of this show, as well as with for example The Last Kingdom or Peaky Blinders. It is defenitly an improvement to have subs on. Sucns that your moms got spoiled tho

2019-06-24 16:33:41 +0000 UTCI'm glad you were told to turn off subtitles before the episode! I watched the whole thing, then finally got my mother to watch it, so we watched it together. Neither of us are hard of hearing or anything, but we started watching shows with subtitles when the show had very heavy British accents and stuff, and we got so used to it it's actually weird now to not have them on, so now we pretty much always have subtitles on. And I totally forgot to turn them off for this episode and my mom got spoiled by it. 🤦🏻♀️

Yes it's the same actress, but she's supposed to be around 23 years older than we last saw her at the witch trial and much more than when she was in 1968 with Brianna and Roger just before she went through the stones, because we don't know how far she actually went back, just that it was further back than Claire went because she was already well established there when Claire arrived. Yes, she's definitely gotten loopier. Again, the writers made a change here from the book with what happens with Yi Tien Cho, and it's for the better. Good to see Lord John again, and Claire certainly spotted his reaction to seeing Jamie! Hope you enjoyed the finale, look forward to seeing it.
