Musical Interlude
Added 2019-08-21 16:20:18 +0000 UTCI used to be so good at updating, but starting in the beginning of 2017, I really slowed down. Things have been pretty shitty on my end, and I've blamed my lack of updates on private matters taking priority. A moment's reflection, though, tells me that's horsehockey. Before then, I was cranking out pages even when slammed at work.
Well, long story short, my doctor sent me to a brain doctor. Notwithstanding my vigorous protestations and objections, I have been decreed to have something called "major depressive disorder" and have been directed to take some tiny little pills. (My wife and kids are siding with the medicos, saying things like "thank god" or "it's been like living with a dead person" and other such rot. My own flesh and blood!)
Whatever. I'll take the pills, and hopefully that'll deal with my defective head meat so I can get back to important things. Like opening this ominous stack of mail that's piled up. And getting back to this comic that I really do love making.
In the meantime, here's a brief musical interlude to tide you over. I used to write music all the time, until about... uh... yeah. (Now that I think of it, I've barely touched an instrument in over a year. Okay, fine, maybe they have a point after all.) This is a song I wrote for my wife as a present for Christmas 2017. It was supposed to make her laugh (there are a couple in-jokes plus an obvious Anchorman reference), but it had the exact opposite effect. (Okay, okay, I get the point.)
Anyway, enjoy! Or not! And I'm spending the rest of today on the comic!
