You have the opportunity to get multiple new rulers and monarchs on humanity's side or at least out of the cycle of original monarch and rulers. Like Miho can be the new dragon Monarch since Ashborn likely killed Antares permanently since from what I understand of the lore is that Ashborn was a ruler turned monarch with the power over death and shadows, so he could theoretically permanently kill/prevent them from resurrecting another ruler or monarch. In which case the system can choose more of each to fill the void in both sides. Don't know who or what the other two could be though.

2025-06-02 17:56:25 +0000 UTCHey so I finished the anime of both seasons to read this masterpiece it's really good the only thing I'm kind of bummed out is Cha Hae-In isn't a part of that since the anime made it seem like she's the love interest of the show granted I haven't read the mangwa and the LN so I don't know what happens on that front in this though I'm assuming she's not gonna be with Jinwoo?

2025-06-02 14:59:22 +0000 UTCYeah, he's cool and all, but just didn't fit into the story. Sadge. Miho was the one who got hit hardest by the fall. Joohee definitely was the most frightened one tho. Miho in canon is Baek Yoonho's daughter in the sequel. Soohyun is a character that the anime sadly seems to be leaving out and giving her role to songyi. Sadly, she didn't do much even in the manhwa so she's a bit of a canonically wasted character.

2025-06-02 14:48:17 +0000 UTCI think I understand where this is going by the way- Jinwoo's still gonna be the Shadow Monarch, but multiple people being jacked into the System means that things will be a lot different in a lot of the midgame into endgame stuff? They'll all get huge growth boosts up until the System is finally packed away like in canon and will retain the ability to grow afterwards, and Jinwoo will have multiple lifelong comrades/wives that aren't hardstuck the way normal Hunters are and can stand beside him?

2025-06-01 19:22:34 +0000 UTCFrom what little I've seen on Solo Leveling, I know that Hunters can't grow in rank, and that Dungeons appearing is something no one can truly prepare for, even if the S-Rank one that showed up was horrific. I also can't really blame the Hunters who ran. They screwed over the remaining 4, but I get why they bailed when they had the chance. Too bad they missed on the opportunity of a lifetime. Even if they dealt with getting crushed, shish-kabobed, and mutilated by creepy-faced statues. I like the idea of more than one person having 'Player' abilities, since that increases what can be done and the versatility of what each one can do, so its not just a 'one-for-all' type that can only be in one place at a time when they're needed. I don't know much about any character besides Sung Jin-woo, so I'm looking forward to learning more. :) As for updates, just read through/watch/enjoy whichever series you want when you feel like it, and that should help you refocus on what you're trying to focus on. At least that helps me when I do that, or listen to music.

At least that's what I would do with The Emerald Phoenix. What can I say about this story...well, to start with, it seems incredible and I like the idea that Jinwoo is not alone. The title is appropriate. Besides, the question we have to ask ourselves is how powerful everyone will become with the system. I could tell you a thousand things, but this is what I will say: let your muse guide you and write what comes out of you, don't try to force it. I will eagerly await future chapters of this and more stories.

2025-06-01 10:33:35 +0000 UTCooh this is gonna be so much fun. honestly I am absolutely loving the premise because my biggest personal gripe with Solo Leveling was that Jinwoo didn't really have any peers that weren't enemies and that got a bit annoying. So this is definitely a story that I am very excited to see more of. I look forward to seeing what paths of growth our protagonists will be heading down.

2025-06-01 05:15:40 +0000 UTCWelp I’m officially interested in this story now. While I’ll admit I’m sad about Song Chiyul, as I liked that old man, I can see why you’d kill him off. Aside from making it easier to keep the girls in there with Jinwoo, he wouldn’t really serve a purpose for any future events like he did in canon. And even then he didn’t have much of a role. No real complaints about the rest of the chapter. Feel bad for Miho, Joohee, and Soohyun though. Being dropped down to rock bottom like that has to hurt. Not to mention the latter two being forced to fight and grow despite their trauma. I am looking forward to how they’ll develop though. Especially Miho and Soohyun, given I haven’t gotten far enough in canon to have any clue who they are.

As much as I like your Emerald Phoenix story yeah MHA canon has really fucked most interest in fics for the storyline unless you make major changes that completely invalidate the later plot points it's hard to be excited to seeing AFO be an annoying cockroach for 200 chapters and every single character acting like lobotomized morons, I'm still mad that they threw pretty much every single bit of Midoriya smarts out the window as soon as he got OFA and only let him cook during his Dark Deku arc figuring out how to use his quirks in interesting ways. Maybe consider trying to continue some of your old MHA plot bunnies and see if it sparks something, I remember liking the Kaidozuku, Merlin kidnapping Izuku and the Gilzuku stories.

Not too sure, I stopped watching after Culture Festival and heard only bits an pieces after that. Anyway, this is an interesting start for Solo Leveling. What I‘m curious of the most are the Job Change quests, what they'll look like for the women and what their Job will be. For Miho I would imagine something like Dragonborn or the like, and Yoo could become a Void Sorceress. But no clue about Lee. As for potential titles: Harem Leveling, Group Leveling, Guild Leveling.

I wonder how the red gate is gonna go, what with Jinwoo canonically killing one of Miha's guildmates just to have another body to throw at the winter elf boss. Title Idea could either be "Party/(Harem) Leveling" or something like "That Time We Got Ressurected as Video Game Characters".
