This weeks video is me talking through the 5 things that hold me back from buying the Omega Seamaster despite loving it soooo much!
I would say I amโฆ. Extra fond of the Seamaster. Iโve said it once and Iโll say it so many times again: I think it is THE most interesting diver money can buy! Itโs so fluid and beautiful! I love it! BUUUUT thereโs just enough problems that keep me from purchasing!! ๐
Now. Iโve been trying new things with colour grading. I donโt love how this video looks! But hopefully no one will really notice! ๐

I've tried this watch so many times......very nearly bought the white dial with a rubber strap, but put the $$ into a Cartier instead. I just don't like the escape valve....it looks awkward, and (lets be frank) there's zero reason for it to stick out from the case - even if they couldn't fit it inside the case (i.e. Rolex SD), they could integrate it in one of the lugs. The bracelet looks awful. Its a shame, as it's incredibly well-made, but it looks like a design that GS had rejected for one of their dress watches. It's too fancy and too 90s for a modern diver. I can live with the hands, but woudl have preferred sword hands - good news - we can get all that on one of the new vintage models in the range :D

Itโs very elegant and doesnโt feel too big on the wrist, plus that bracelet feels very very comfortable. That being said. From the modern Seamasters I still think the Planet Ocean is the best. The He escape valve is proportional, the hands are elegant and classic, and you can choose between 39 and 43mm. Beautiful ๐๐
